Hello:

Im wondering if anyone has any experience with loading images into their GUIs. I have no problem getting the path name to work while running the code in eclipse, but once i build an executable the path is different and therefore doesnt work.

Want I want to be able to do is put the .exe file in a folder which would contain an images folder. The images folder would have all of the files necessary for the GUI.

Any help or criticism would be appreciated.....im pretty lost.

Thank you!

That problem still has not been resolved properly.

Moving to the GUI forum.

if you mean a .jar executable file, load the images via a getResource(..) and they'll be in the .jar,
which can then be placed/work anywhere
