RIGHT HERE I HAVE AN XML FILE AND A JSP FILE. WHEN I RUN THIS IN NETBEANS, I'M GETTING THE FOLLOWING ERROR:

EXCEPTION javax.servlet.ServletException: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Content is not allowed in prolog.
ROOT CAUSE org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Content is not allowed in prolog.

I'M RUNNING GLASFISH V2 AND I ALREADY ADDED THE FOLLOWING LIBRARIES: JSTL 1.1 standar.jar and jstl.jar

is there something wrong or do i need another web server......thank you.

Welcome to the Ranch.

A tip for making the most of the Ranch as a resource: starting out by ticking everyone off by entering posts in uppercase is not going to work out very well. Please read this for more information. I have adjusted the topic title for you, you might want to go and fix your post to use mixed case.

Another hint: why are there blank lines before the prolog in your XML file? Hint, hint.
