I've been feeling division of Java forum into three (advanced, intermediate, and beginner) is kind of bothering. There are basic questions in the advanced one. On the other hand, there are advanced topics in the other two. If we want to browse posting, we have to go through each group. If we want to post something, it's hard to decide which group it should go into.

Can JavaRach merge the three into one?

Thanks.

We like to keep beginner's questions in their own forum, so we probably won't get rid of that. But we do have a long-standing plan of eliminating the Advanced forum (folding it into Intermediate, essentially); we just haven't gotten around to do that.

Be sure to avail yourself of the search capability if you're not sure which forum to look in.

We prefer to keep the easy questions in beginners, otherwise we think we might scare people off if they see difficult questions there.

And it is easier to say a question is too difficult and must be moved than to say it is too easy and must be moved.
