Hello.
I am totally new to EJB topic. I am learning EJB through EJB in Action book and side by side preparing for SCBCD exam.
but for learning this which application server would be usefull.. I have 3 choices
1) Glassfish
2) WebLogic
3) WebSphere

so which one would be easy for me as I am new learner for all this.

I would pick up Glassfish...but

JBoss is another GOOD option

Weblogic & Websphere are toooooo heavy, in fact Websphere is heavier than Weblogic.

I suggest, for beginner, JBoss is a good option.

Hi, I am preparing for SCBCD myself, and if you follow the book EJB in action, I believe that the examples in the book are using the Glassfish as the EJB container. As people suggested, JBoss is another good option. However, it requires you to modify the source code a little in order to make it work with regards to the JBoss AS. IMO, I prefer JBoss to Glassfish and the JBoss is simpler.

Good luck
