I like a cup of coffee and some rice cakes, but my keyboards usually verge on multi-cellular status.

Mine's disgusting. I eat anything and everything while I'm sitting there, and I basically have to throw them away periodically and buy a new one.

I dont really eat snacks here:
The closest thing is our "thursday cake", but apart from that it's just Tea, Cofee, cola or water and some fruit.

I always try to keep a supply of peanut M&Ms and Planters dry roasted peanuts at work. All of my co workers stop by to steal them.

Recently our offices on campus were relocated to the downtown mall. Now I have easy access to the cookie shop and coffee shop. Love those monster cookies!!

re: keyboards. I saw a debate somewhere (Dr Dobb's ?) where some people claimed you could put keyboards in the dishwasher. Most felt that it "might work" as a fluke, but was pretty risky. I think it would be a brilliant design if you could pull the electronics out of a keyboard so that the casing could be washed.

re: snack. Lately, at home I eat carrots and prewashed/cut apple slices. At least you can eat all you want and it's only 100 calories. At work, I'm always drinking water, coffee, etc.

Looks around nervously

I don't like coffee.

There, I said it. I'm a programmer who doesn't like coffee. I'm not even that crazy about tea, which is almost a crime in Britain. I have almost no caffeine intake while at work.

This makes lunch time trips to the pub a bit problematic. I pie and a couple of pints and I'm ready for a sleep all afternoon. Fortunately there is a solution - bananas!

Surely the greatest coding snack ever. They're great. I'm not sure how, but there's something in them which really wakes me up when I need to step up a gear and get some work done.
