Hello Friends..

i have a question..
how to configure POJO would be implemented with Several MySQL Storage Engine..
i have Configure all of POJO but.. The Table was generated with MyISAM Storage Engine..

How to describe each of POJO whether would be implemented as MyISAM or InnoDB or Memory Storage Engine?..

iam using MySQLDialect..

Thanks in advance..

Does the different storage engine make a difference? I always use INNODB, and have never specified that fact in my hiberante.cfg.xml file. All I do is specify the JDBC URL and the Dialect of MySQL, and everything works fine.

It's all going to one, single database, right? One database and one schema?

If you have multiple databases, you'd need multiple Hibernate SessionFactory classes, or use something like Hibernate Shards.

- several tables with Memory Storage Engine
- several tables with InnoDB Storage Engine
- several tables with MyISAM Storage Engine

is that possible to be implemented?..
or maybe, i have to change in manually?..

Sir..
what kind of database server do you usually use?..
Do you create a database backup for your Hibernate Application?..
if, you using MySQL, what do you use InnoDB also for your Backup database/table?..

Thanks in advance..

I don't think hibernate needs to know what engine you are using on your tables/indecies.
