I have developed first phase of my product using spring + hiberbate. I have developed the web layer using Spring MVC.
Now I am considering JSF for the rest of the product . Do you recomend this aproach ? I mean mixing up spring MVC and JSF ?
My intenstion is to get a rich UI .
is there any pottential risk involved in using JSF with spring ?
Can I develop JSF code with eclipse? or JDeveloper is mandatory ?
"Shaiju", welcome back to JavaRanch. We're a friendly bunch here, but we do require our ranch hands to use real screen names. You can read the policy here.
So please change your screen name to a real name. You can do that here. And be aware that not following the policy may lead to termination of your account. And this is your third warning, so that termination may happen very soon. Do not ignore this request again.
I don't normally bother to give answers to people who have invalid screen names. As Paul said, we're not a really hard-nosed bunch around here, but we do like to be professional, so we're very insistent on that one issue.
Yes, Spring works quite well with JSF. I've got a number of projects that mix Spring and JSF. If you want to know more, fix your screen name and I'll tell you.
