Error "Blocking call performed in the event thread"

Hi,

My j2me login application runs properly and logs me in when I run it in the emulator as follows

Run Project -> loginApp

But if I run the login application as follows

Run Project via OTA -> loginApp

then I get the following message after I click login

"Blocking call performed in the event thread"

Any idea what is the reason for this....?

Its working for me now and the problem was,

The commandAction was simply calling the respective functions.
Instead, when I started a new thread for each case in commandAction and in that thread, called the respective function,
everything seems to be fine.

public void commandAction(Command command, Displayable screen) {

        if (command == exit) {
            destroyApp(false);
            notifyDestroyed();
        } else if (command == buttoncmd) {
            
            new Thread(new Runnable(){
            public void run()
            {
                try{
                    verifyLogin(tb1.getString(),tb2.getString(),tb3.getString());
                }catch(Exception e){}
            }
            }).start();
            
        }
    }
