I just got one of these babies...

pros: good looking, small, crisp screen

cons (so far): wifi seems very slow, haven't tried wireless yet,
interface close to as good as iPhone, but still seems a little rough - maybe I'll get used to it?
seems strange that it didn't come with a game or two?

I'd love to hear what you guys think!

Keyboard? I don't use no steenking keyboard! But then I can Grafitti faster and more accurately than I can slide out the qwerty and hunt-and-peck with my fat little paws. All the qwert keyboard does on my phone is slide and switch display modes when I didn't intend it to.

im thinking for a developers perspective, cause from there you can test apps that uses keyboards and not all people will be comfortable using the soft keys!

Grafitti (and its relatives) are "handwriting" inputs, not the same thing as softkeys. But you bring up a good question. I have a Bluetooth keyboard that I use when I need to do heavy-duty typing on my non-Android phone. Has Google gotten their Bluetooth stack up to that level yet?

i think Bluetooth api is there but right now i heard only the audio bluetooth device is the only one working

and about the grafitti, i think it is in the 1.5 sdk so you can put it in any android device(when you downloaded the whole source and port it to yours) i think

HTC Magic is good phone but on G1 and HTC Magic I am missing features I have on my Sony Ericsson phone. Camera could be better, music player, it can be really hard to see display outside on a sunny day... But Android is great OS for developers and phone users... Android Market is one of its best fatures beside great API's.

I've got one of the older HTC phones and the WiFi itself doesn't seem too bad, but connecting can take forever.
