I've used several examples to build this java app. Getting an - ';' expected - error on the build. I think it's coming from another are of my code...here is the area in question:

public class SendButtonListener implements ActionListener {

public void actionPerformed (ActionEvent ev) {
try {
writer.println(outgoing.getText());
writer.flush();

} catch (Exception ex){
ex.printStackTrace();

}

outgoing setText("");
outgoing requestFocus();
}
}
// close SendButtonListener inner class[/color][/b]error on build is:

D:\share\nmon\client_socket_j.java:57: ';' expected
outgoing setText();
^
D:\share\nmon\client_socket_j.java:58: ';' expected
outgoing requestFocus();
^
2 errors

Process completed.
If I can get this client (+server routine) routine working, I want to post it for AIX OS support people to use in downloading nmon performance files. Thanks.
