currentthread.sleep(10000) is not working in Linux  RSS feed

Hi all,
In my application i have used like currentthread.sleep(10000) but it is not working properly

Can any one please suggest me the alternative way to sleep the thread for specific time

How did you define this currentthread? And what happens when you try to run it ? What makes you think "it is not working properly" ?

Have you read about Thread in the API documentation?

What's currentthread? Is it a Thread? The usual way to call the method, which is a static method, is Thread.sleep(10000); Remember it declares a checked Exception, which you must handle.
