Hello friends,

I am visiting UK for few months this year and carrying my cell phone from India. Would it be possible to get SIM card there. I would be using the cell for incoming calls. Which company will work out cheaper ? Would i have to recharge everymonth. ?

thank you. dilip

You can use Indian GSM cellphones in UK. Yes, you can get UK local SIM card from any convenience store or lot of local shops (which are primarily owned by Desis). As fas as i remember, cheapest one used to be T-Mobile.
