I bought a sun voucher on Prometric
Test Center, the date printed on the voucher was 04/07/2009. I thought it is July 04,2009. so i planned to attend the exam on june 08, 2009. so based on these plan, i prepared the exam and went to prometric test center to attend the exam on june 08, 2009. but the exam organizer/Conductor said that voucher is already expired and its validity is upto april 07, 2009. i was totally shocked and absurd. we , in our country usually follow the dd/MM/yyyy format in all Application forms whether it is private or public organisation, banks , educational institution etc. so i had the mind set of dd/MM/yyyy format only. i did not have any idea of mm/dd/yyyy format in the voucher.
The Prometric exam center did not informed about this format when i paid the fees. even there is no indication about this format in the sun voucher.
So, as of now it cannot able to attend the test. I want to know, whether is there any chance for me to claim for this issue to Sun. can i get the oppurtunity to attend the test using the same voucher, whether can they extend the validity period.
Kindly advise me regarding this issue. Eagerly waiting for your reply
