We have problem in forward to a velocity template.

I am using:
1.Portlets(286) on LifeRay(5.2.3)-Tomcat5.2.27
2.Struts2 portlet plugin
3.Velocity (we are just evaluating this for our candidate architecture)...trying to replace JSP's

its scenario is simple.

we have search.vm which calls an action on form submit, which then forwards to a result.vm with a "success" forward name.

I am having problems with this. I get an exception. (java.lang.IllegalStateException: Not allowed in a portlet)

Need help/direction.

You may check this example (Struts 2 in Liferay portal)

http://www.liferay.com/web/guest/community/forums/-/message_boards/message/1350331

It is working fine in Liferay 5.1 or above.

Thanks
