I have a project explorer on the left that has a rich tree, and then the main content on the right that varies. The project explorer stuff is constantly running over to the right main content side though, especially the more you expand the tree.

here is the relevant code:

I have tried different things like adding padding, and it seems like I had it an one point but mustve changed something. Can someone help me with this before tomorrow when I have to give a demo?

edit - here is what I mean, see how the project explorer items are running over the word "channel"

Is there maybe a way to change the font size of the rich tree? I cannot get anything to work here for some reason, this seems like something that should be pretty darn simple

edit - or do I need to control this in the layout page?

well i was able to make the font for the rich tree smaller. works for now I suppose but if anyoe can give me a better solution it would be great. If I could just amke the padding on the left side of the main content pane larger it would be perfect, but I just cant seemt o get this to happen

Congratulations, Matt! I've been working on that problem for about 4-5 months now. The problem is even worse than that, since Internet Explorer will wrap tree node text, but Firefox resufes to. Apparently the people who created the rich tree control expected that all the nodes would be one-liners.

I finally gave up and am using panel menus instead, since a true tree display wasn't really what I wanted anyway.

I just dont see why you wouldt be able to do some styling in each of the <td> tags, like adding some extra left side padding to the one containing the main content.

And I really did have it working like this, but then changed some stuff and lost it.
