Hello all, I'm interested in pursuing the SCEA but not really know where to start preparing. I noticed there are several references mentioned on this forum and in the faq. I know a bit of everything in the JavaEE platform from either reading or playing around on my own. As this time, the new study guide for SCEA5 isn't out yet and I have read through the old one to give an idea.

Now I'm thinking, if I start now and with JavaEE6 upon us, I'm not sure if I should 1) do SCEA5 and upgrade to 6 when it comes out or 2) keep reading and learning and wait till JavaEE6 comes out and then take the v6 cert or 3) pursue SCBCD or SCWCD to better prep for Java EE technology? Another concern is not knowing exactly how the Oracle-Sun deal will affect Java certs, will the SCEA requirements/pre-reqs change?
