if a servlet stores some attribute in request scope and forwards the request to JSP, is it possible that JSP can access that attribute by using standard action(<jsp:useBean) in the page scope?

actually i am trying to understand when we dont specify the scope in standard action , then it takes PAGE scope as default value.......so will it be possible to access some attribute stored in request object using that standard action>

Hi, Ravi. <jsp:useBean..> primarily used for bean classes. It is not possible.

Chinmaya, thanks for the reply..............

attribute stored in the request scope is of type bean class only.........the only different thing is the scope in the standard action and that is the PAGE scope instead of REQUEST........can we access that attribute in page scope ?
