Hi,

I am modifying the properties file using my java code.

i am just changing the value of birthdayTemplate, but all my urls are also getting modified...

What could be the reason for that...

bellow is my code to change the value in properties file




Can anybody tell me the reason for the same... ??

Is it an actual problem? By that I mean: if you subsequently read the properties again, are the URLs incorrect?

yes when i read again the properties file url is correct...

what it actually does ? i think there is some special meaning of : in properties file..

Properties files can use both = and : for separating keys and values. It seems like the : is escaped so the Properties class won't mistake it for a separator.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
