Google has announced Google Wave, which will be released later this year.

Will it be able to kill Twitter, or even Facebook? What do you think?

I don't think it is in the same competition. they are for completely different issues. Google Wave is a collaboration/email/chat like tool. Whereas Twitter is a get your status out quickly in only a few characters. and Facebook is a social network site.

Yeah, Google wave can never replace those public social network sites, but it can be used as a social network system, within our own group, like in Google Groups. I think that Google wave is another competitor for social networking, in that case, some how.

And TWave (Google wave + Twitter combination) seems to be a good approach!

I am. The butterfat part, though. Here Orkut is the sovereign.
