Hi ,
I have gone through J2EE study guide , lstudy links in this forms and core patterns book and was feeling like I am ready for the exam before I took free test from whizlabs . I scored 76% but there were many topics which I even even did not prepared at all like Stax , Java IDE , Ajax and the list is long . I am planning to appear for the exam in couple of weeks time and have covered patterns ,webservices , EJB 3.0 , SCEA exam guide , JSF and the referance link provided in this site , how do I know what else do I have to study like AJAX , Swing are not explicitely mentioned in exam objectives . Also I could not find any questions on J2EE patterns in the exam , but it is mentioned in the exam objective . Does the main exam contains questions on J2EE patterns .

The exam is filled with design pattern questions. Get the two design pattern books, J2EE Design Patterns and Design Patterns by the GOF, and know them inside out. You'll also need to demonstrate their use on part II, and talk about them in part III.
