Hi,

<error-page>
<error-code>500</error-code>
<location>/DisplayError500.jsp</location>
</error-page>

is given in web.xml.

is it sufficient to handle all exceptions(including unchecked exceptions/erros under throwable) ?

For example ,consider a scenario-

if any runtime exception nullpointer, arrayindexoutofbound etc come at the weblayer(struts action)/database layer (dao)
and there is no try/catch block, the method signatures only have "throws Exception" in their signature.

will the above <error-page> given in web.xml able to handle it and redirect the user to genric error page.

Thanks,
Neeraj.
