Difference between jsp:include and include directive.

include directive, copies included page into original page. so this happens at compile time.
include standard action copies page during translation time.
1.)can some one explain me advantage of standard action over include directive?
2) variables declared before calling include directive are visible in included page but they are not accessible if we use jsp:include. isn't it a disadvantage of standard action?

The include directive copies the content at translation/compile time.
