Is JavaFX is flatform independent ?
Does it a good decision to use JavaFX for Desktop application ?

last week there was a JavaFX book promo in this forum.

scroll down to the bottom third of the forum's first page (and at the start of page 2),
and you'll find plenty of questions/discussion about JavaFX, and you should find answers
to all your questions in those threads.
