Hi,
I am planning to take IBM 996 exam for MQ solution designer. Can someone help telling the resources or any other useful links. Heard that it is not easy to pass this exam in fist chance. primary reason is that most of the questions are based on z/os.

Please help.

Thanks

You are aware of these tutorials ?
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/offers/lp/wescert/wes-cert996.html

If you've got a lot of WebSphere MQ® knowledge and can plan, architect, and design software solutions involving WebSphere MQ, consider taking these five certification preparation tutorials. Designed to help you prepare for the exam, these tutorials focus on the topics covered on the IBM certification test 996, IBM Certified Solution Designer -- WebSphere MQ V6.0. A few hours with these tutorials could save you some hair pulling on exam day.

There is a sticky on mqseries.net - http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=19492

Product documentation is a great source of information. The test also covers MQ on z series (mainframes) systems and there are some questions that test your knowledge on implementing MQ on those systems.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
