I am having over 2 years of experience in IT field mainly in Java. I have worked on various kind of projects in this two years like game development and enterprise web application development. Mainly I have worked on second type of projects and I am bored from that kind of projects because mainly they are doing CRUD operations i.e. transfer of data from and to the application. I have also worked on game development project which I enjoyed very much.

Basically, I like to work on projects that have some creativity and not monotonous projects. If I go back into the past, in my academic project, I have developed a project named 'Fun Project' which contains various kind of games, Funny questionnaire, some user teasing app and things like that in VB while my other classmates have developed app like Hospital, Library, college management systems.

So I think I am more interested in not only game development but also in animation and things like that. Someday I want to work for Pixar animation studio. So my question is What's your thought on the domain change? how should I start working in that direction? Does Pixar recruit people with average intelligence? I am not extra intelligent. Does anybody work for pixar or has worked for in past?

Would you like to concentrate on animation or would you like to program game/animation related things/products ? Or is it a little of both ? There are courses out there that specialize in animation / game programming etc. I think I remember seeing something of that sort in a Singaporean university (NUS or Nanyang I think. My memory escapes me).
