Well my friend, the secret to SCJP is hours of hard studying and code testing. If you dedicate time and effort to it then you can do it in July.
Best book is Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Study Guide. For mock questions you need to do as many as you can.
ExamLab is one good software and it is free.

If you have any questions or topics that you are not clear about, you can post the question and the code here and we can try to help you understand it, just make sure to cite the source of the question and where you got it from.

Good luck for the preparation.
Cheers!!

Firs thing you have to buy a good book and read thoroughly. I would suggest you to get the K & B book. Once completed please take the sample mock exams from the various websites. Passing SCJP exam is not tough. You have to understand the concepts.

Hi Chitta Ranjan,

Do a lot of practice in java coding and solve as many mocks as possible.
Find weak area and make it strong. Understand java fundamental concepts properly.
JavarRanch is good place to discuss doubts here every member will try to solve your doubt.

Read the book, once, twice. Check this forum on a daily basis. Ask questions AND answer others questions.
Last but not at least, solve some mock exams (e.g. examLab). Also read other success story.

cheers
Bob
