My wife and I went Saturday to our cinema and saw The Kite Runner Movie a film about Afghanistan from the late 70's til today.

If you have a chance to see this film in your cinema, don't miss it. I'm sure it will touch you as it touched us.

You probably mean Mehman-e Maman:

It's a beautiful comedy with great actors of Iranian cinema. All actors in this film including the film director have won prizes at international film festivals.

I am reading A Thousand Splendid Suns by the same auther.I highly recommend this book.

While reading this book I found that many words from Afghan language exist in Gujarati language too.

I saw the movie "The Kite Runner".
Well what can I say, I cried at the end of the movie.. don't know why..

The story itself qualifies as an all time great.. the cinematography and performances sums up the good work.

Attonement, Amadeus and Forrest Gump are other movies of the same league.
