Hi,
I started my career with a start up company in 2005.I worked there for around 1&half years and moved to some other firm, and now overall I am having around 3&half yrs of IT exp.Unfortunately, since my first company was a start-up,its no longer existing now.I am having the original offer letter and relieving letter of that company. Now can I still show the experience of my very first start up company which is no longer existing? Will my experience still count? What explanation shall I give to the companies which I will be joining in future?

Yes it will be counted. And tell truth to other companies which you are going to join.

Company might have been closed but you can give references of someone in management only if asked.

But I am absolutely NOT in touch with any one of them.I just have the original offer letter and relieving letter as proof from the organization.Hope THOSE WILL DO?Actually it was just a start up firm opened by a bunch of guys in the year 2000.The company did well initially, but unfortunately, may be coz of global recession, could no longer survive and it got closed last year.

Thanks
Anuj
