just cleared SCWCD in 88%

once agian my ultimate weapon is Head first Servlets and JSP and my fav JavaRanch


all the glory goes my best java friends Head first series and this forum

All my friends are asking me secret to get succeed in java in first attempt in high scores..they don't know it is Java Ranch forum

all my friends known about this forum.they just don't know how useful a JavaRanch forum could be i explained them many times to join this forum ..but they are more of Quick results type they read before exam's and expect 90's

First - congrats for successfully achieving this milestone - Great score.

I have to agree with you. I also try as much to get my colleagues/friends to register to the site and participate in the forums as they are specialized and the responses are
on average very quick and active. But most just don't realize the benefits and amount of useful knowledge the are missing out on and the fun and humour of members
along with the great books we are using here. Unfortunately. So i also jump at any chance to advice any person i come across interested in certification and/or java related
to use the site, but they miss the point.

But all in all like i read somewhere "All roads lead to JavaRanch".

I have recently cleared my SCJP 1.6 exam and now am planning to give SCWCD 5.0 . I don't have any knowledge about the web development in general and JSPs/Servelets in particular. Can you guide me which book will be the good starting point at this level? Will HFSJ will be a good starting point...
