problem with ServletOutputStream in Filter

Hi Guys,

I have written a Filter, which will add a Horizontal line above and below the HTMl Page, it is mapped with.
When i Use PrintWriter getWriter() it works fine and i can see in browser the top & bottom line with HTML contents.
But when i use ServletOutPutStream getOutputStream() :-
(1) it displays truncated HTML.
(2) Bottom Lines donot appear.

What do be the cause ?
