what is self referential transparency in java..?  RSS feed

Dear all

I saw that java does not support global variable because it breaks self referential transparency .please tell me what is self referential transperency and give me the link of the issue stated above

I did, and got about 5 lines which look very vague. It doesn't look a particularly useful website to me.

And you can get "globally accessible" values in Java: This is an example.
