I have seen people using fckeditor.. Can anyone tell me the use of using fckeditor... Will the data inserted in fckeditor creates a new file or the data goes rigth into the DB.

Thank you in advance

I've moved this to the HTML & JavaScript forum, since the FCKeditor has nothing to do with Servlets.

It sounds like you might want to read the FCKeditor overview, then base your questions on what you understand or what you still don't understand.

A basic answer to your question is that the FCKeditor does not create files or insert data into tables. It provides a client side rich editing environment. What you do with the data after the client has finished editing it is up to you. When the form (that you create) is transmitted to your server-side application, you can store it in a database, or in a text file, or send it to the printer - whatever you feel is appropriate.
