Hi all

Which is the best method for saving the data for, "Dont show this message next time"
any idea?

next time if the application starts this wont work right..

You need to share the details!
I would say persisting it in a properties file would be the easiest.

Another option is the Preference framework.
Note: I have not personally used it.
This might help you get started

You need to store the properties somewhere. That could be a file, possibly with a Properties object as the interface for it, a Preferences object (which uses the registry in Windows), or a database. The first two solutions are the easiest.
