Hi

As part of my project, I need to enable the user to upload their files to a server. For this I am using <input type=file> tag.

When the page is redirected, I am not able to retrieve the path of file selected. I am doing request.getParameter() to fetch its value.

Am I doing it the wrong way?

Kindly help me in resolving the issue.

Thanking You

Uploading files requires a lot of heavy machinery on the server. Please see the JSP FAQ for information on file uploading. It's a lot more work than you think.
