Question :

Assume all XML fragments are well-formed.
Which instance of Address is correct?

Options:

Since it is unqualified , I was asuming that even the parent <Address> element should be unqulified. But the correct answer given is B and not A.

Is my understanding wrong or is the correct option that has been given , wrong?

Hi!
This declaration:

Means that the <Address> element is a global element. Global elements must always be prefixed by a namespace prefix, unless they belong to the default namespace.
Best wishes!
