Hi. I have a JPopupMenu instance which is showing window decorations. Does anyone have any idea how I can remove them or how I can access the parent component to turn decorations off? getParent() returns null. Thanks.

JPopupMenu does not have window decorations. I'm not sure what you are talking about.

If you need further help then you need to create a SSCCE (Short, Self Contained, Compilable and Executable, Example Program), that demonstrates the incorrect behaviour.

Don't forget to use the Code Formatting Tags so the posted code retains its original formatting. That is done by selecting the code and then clicking on the "Code" button above the question input area.

Strangely, my JPopupMenu is now showing window decorations. When it was part of a JFrame, it did not show decorations. Same code now in a JApplet, shows window decorations. I will try to post some code.
