scjp 5 or scjp 6

somebody told me that scjp 6 is easier then scjp 5 exam
is it so ??
& for exam point which topic required special attention ?

somebody told me that SCJP 6 has a higher difficulty level than SCJP 1.5....

Anybody suggest better option between scjp5 or 6?

The marking system is slightly different between the two exams (6 has more questions, but a higher pass rate or something like that; the details are in the FAQ, but that seems to be down just now). You can get some details from Sun.

Regardless of which one is "harder", I have chosen to do SCJP6. Java 1.6 is the current version, so the qualification will remain valid for longer. I don't see much point in passing an exam on a version that is deprecated.

When do you want to sit the exam? You may wish to consider the new SJP PLus exam (it's only in beta at the moment).

end of this month...

no its not like that number of question are same in both scjp 5 & 6
only difference is time<210 minutes for 6 and 175 minutes for 5> & of course some more topic are added in 6 and some are removed..

can you send me link of this scjp + from sun website??
