I have an problem that combining 3 images taking a long time to complete, around 3,5 seconds.
My project, I have an tomcat server which by request get an image file from an particular server which is an PNG file. I have already scaled the background image and the grid image, both are also png files. The image from the particular server and the grid image are transparent images.
Now I try to combine those images:
1. loading all images
2. figure out what the hight and width of the background image is.
3. Resize the data image
4. draw data and grid image on the background and save it as png file.
All variables ending on File are defined on higher level in my class file.
This is the methode I wrote which gives me around 3,5 secondes to complete. Besides this I am stuck with the png format, because it should be displayed on an Cisco IP Phone.
Please what should I do different to speed up the combining process of these 3 png image files ?
