Let us say if we pass this connection string in this getParamsFromConnectionString(xyz)
String xyz=jdbc:JSQLConnect:// orlqtesta/minpoolsize=5/maxpoolsize=10/database=Test_DB/user=eTest/password=pwd

Which returns {minpoolsize=5, url= orlqtesta, password= pwd, user= eTest, database= Test_DB, maxpoolsize=10}

My doubt is what I write in the xyz string
Which returns getParamsFromConnectionString() as {minpoolsize=5, url= orlqtesta/sql1, password= pwd, user= eTest, database= Test_DB, maxpoolsize=10}

Please suggest.

Thanks for your time.

I'm not sure what you're asking--could you restate the problem?

I am not even convinced that the code does what the OP says it does. From a very quick look, it looks like it will only take an IP address as the url.
