I'm using 1.6 Swing DnD and attempting to transfer an array of objects within the same JVM, on Windows.
I've seen the old bug report that says that even if the flavor is DataFlavor.javaJVMLocalObjectMimeType, if the representationClass implements Serializable, the object will be serialized. Is this still the case in 1.6? If so, does anyone know why? This defeats the whole purpose if DataFlavor.javaJVMLocalObjectMimeType, does it not?
I'm off to implement the non-serializable wrapper solution, but I can't see any reason for this behavior.
