How to convert java class file to exe file?  RSS feed

HI all,

is there any simple way to convert java class file to exe file? please suggest me

There is no easy way. But you could create a jar file that's double-clickable, if that's what you're after.

Well,
what Ulf says is true,

and if you are intrested in Windows Exe type file,
you can look at JET : Excelsior
However, its a bit costly affair : $1,200 ??!!!
I wonder why do some people make software costlier than DIAMONDS !!!

And don't forget, you are going to be tied down to the Windows platform once you convert.

Because it is more difficult to make software free from impurities than to find diamonds free from impurities

Making an educated guess, it does not seem like a wrapper (mini version of a jvm running your java code)
I feel they are using C++ with native api or maybe converting java to c++ or something like that....
mostly i have heard, that it works fine without any penalty of memory (a guess again)

I have used Jalbum, its made in java, but is executed as an Exe,
however when i work in it, i get the same behaviour as a java project.
