hi,
which version are you planning to take. usually people are referring to ultimate guide to web services by richard in short RMH. i started with it recently and it gives good introduction of concepts like xml schema, soap uddi etc in first 8 chapters. refer to scdjws links for objective wise tutorials.

i donot know chandra. people are referring to different materials based on objectives. there is no one book in particular for scdjws 5.
