Replacing one tag with another tag in JSP

Hi i want to replace a <xstyle> custom tag with another tag <div class="xstyle" style="display:none;">

how i can do it. I am getting <xstyle> from a java class.

Wouldn't that depend on what the xstyle tag does?

In css file you'll have to define a class xstyle which you are using in div and it would do what your xstyle tag is doing currently...
