Is there any placeholder in POJO?

Hi all,

is there any way of using template for String in POJO?? I mean this template will act as placeholder and we can change it dinamically.
notice that I'm not talking about JSP here.

What do you mean by place holder? A plain old Java object is just that, so you can really write it however you like.

Do you mean formatted Strings? I am sure that is on the SCJP5 syllabus.

String myTemplate = "This is %0$'s template string";
String myString = String.format(myTemplate , "Vierda");

Or you could a static class that reads in come kind of config file/database. Then in the POJO's constructor, ask the static for the default String value.

Really depends on what you are trying to do I guess.
