Hi,

I am trying to create a page that uses the google code search api and returns the resultset on a jsp page. Being a newbie to both jsp and xml manipulation, I was wondering if people knew about ways/best practices to accomplish the above. I was able to run the google code search sample to retrieve the results in the format specified by google and was able to print the resulting xml to the command line. The next step is to take that xml and represent it in a user friendly manner in a grid or some sort of tabular format on the jsp page. If somebody with similar experience can point me in the right direction, that would be great.

Thanks

The approach I would suggest is to get a hold of the google search resultset from a servlet, then parse the xml into a bean (for each search result one bean object), add the ResultBean objects to a List or Set. Forward to a JSP and iterate over the generated List or Set and retrieve the contents.
