Hi,

Any suggestion is highly appreciated...
I have successfully run stateless session bean EJB 3 with jBOSS 4.2 with remote interface but when
I am running the same code for local interface I am getting
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
javax.ejb.EJBException: Invalid (i.e. remote) invocation of local interface (null container)
at org.jboss.ejb3.stateless.StatelessLocalProxy.invoke(StatelessLocalProxy.java:80)
at $Proxy0.sayHello(Unknown Source)
at com.ejb3inaction.actionbazaar.buslogic.HelloUserClient.main(HelloUserClient.java:38)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks in advance..

Hi Meeta,

from which bean/servlet/class do you call your bean. The text of the posted EJBException is quite obvious

Invalid (i.e. remote) invocation of local interface (null container)

Try to update your local bean from another bean, which is located in the same package, and also so deployed in the same ear-file

Hi Christian,

Thanks you much for your reply,

Actually I was also trying to run my local interface from a normal client java class in same package where my stateless bean is present.
Calling my bean from some other bean , does it mean that giving the jndi lookup in a seperate stateless bean in the same package.
Your answer really encouraged me..
Thanks
