I have been trying to use expression language in my WPS 6.1 portlet JSPs. Some parts are working but not all.

And want to have the following two questions answered.

1. When I use all is fine. But when I try to do something like that will not work. Why is that?

2. What is the right way to use expression language in the portlets (if there is any different way)?

No one knows the answer @ JavaRanch? Tough to believe.
