Can i add shortcut keys to JSF page. Is it possible to add???

Yes you can, and thank you! The "mousiness" of the typical web application is a torment to me - I get repetitive stress pain from the middle of my back all the way down to my fingertips. Good-quality "normal" applications generally have shortcut keys and I use them to reduce the damage. Plus a lot of times, they're faster than grabbing the mouse for every trivial little thing.

The way you do that is to use the same shortcut key attributes would would on regular non-JSF HTML.

There is one problem, however. Because web browsers are applications themselves, they've already grabbed most of the good keystrokes, so you can't use them on a web page. There is, however, a standard for certain keys that gets around that. For example, I think Search is Ctrl+3. It's not a very well-known standard, however. I only discovered it myself a few weeks ago. And it mostly covers functions I don't care about, except for Search.

Can you be more specific please. If possible any example.
when i googled i went through some solutions but none of them worked
like using accesskey attribute, using javascript.

If possible give me a example. Once again thanks a lot.
