I want to go with a methodical study of history over long years. Can you tell me if there is an already well-established classifications/categorizations of history out there? For example, here are few categories that sound quite interesting to me.

* Sports History - Indoor, Outdoor
* War History - W\orld War 1 & 2, Other major wars
* History of Science
* History of Politics
* History of Human Evaluation on Earth
* History of Movies/Films
* History of Languages
* History of Major Civilizations on Earth
* History of Space Research

etc etc...

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
