Well just trying to understand meaning of meaningless here....so can I try out my authoring skills by arranging some thoughts in words....
I think its kind of opportunity for non-author like me to feel like an author at the same time readers may not expect a lot.

I think being meaningless is also difficult art which can only come with meaningless practice....what say??

It is indeed an art.
I would say you can try and ape politicians.
They talk a lot but seldom say anything.

Ages back .... Shakespeare said..." whats there in name? "

Now today .... Priyanka said...."What there is color?"

I feel its just a illusion caused by our eyes.

It's all about irony.

The few here that have mastered the art don't seem to realize how meaningless their drivel really is.

We'll just look at each part of the whole crisis problem, and we'll ask ourselves, "What would a maverick do?," and then we'll do that.

Best line in the Tina Fay spoof was at the end where she said "for all you in a drinking game: Maverick"

Talking about Palin. Whats up with her?

Im not American, but I have taken some interest in the most recent politics.

I just think she talks funny. Almost poetic.

See this excerpt, spoken to C. Gibson, ABC News, Sept. 11, 2008:

You can't blink.
You have to be wired
In a way of being
So committed to the mission,

The mission that we're on,
Reform of this country,
And victory in the war,
You can't blink.

So I didn't blink.

What the ...

Sarah Palin is a good looking actress. She plays the part of a politician. She may actually be less stupid than she appears, but its very hard to tell.

When she has a well prepared script, she can deliver it well. Deliver it wonderfully. When she has to answer something without a script, she fails completely.

In politics, the most important thing is sincerity. Once you learn to fake that, you are all set.

If we're just going on practical grasp on foreign policy as our criterion, I think Michael Palin would do a better job than Sarah Palin.

I realise the irony here (asking for meaning in a meaningless drivel forum, in a thread asking how one can be meaningless), but could someone please explain to me what this drinking game is?

In general, the purpose of a drinking game is to give you excuses to drink too much alcohol. Behind the purpose is that you play the game with a bunch of people, and if you get drunk enough, one of the fellow players of an appropriate sex will decide that you are good looking enough to get lucky.

Of course, in practice, when folks get too drunk, they forget why they are interested in folks of an appropriate sex, or what they should do with them.

The rules are always locally defined. something like:

Have a shot whenever she:

++ says "he/we is/are a maverick" rather than answering a question
++ says Russia is near Alaska, so that counts as foreign policy experience
++ says things that any professional woman would puke before saying
++ hides behind her looks and sex instead of answering the question.

For other examples, see:
Sarah Palin Drinking Game

Its clear that everyone expected her to over use the "maverick" claim.
